Who we are
Yurny Labs is a design studio based in Mexico. It is not a separate legal entity — the studio's work is invoiced under Edwin Alejandro Muñoz Montes, who is accountable for the personal data described on this page.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies and runs no advertising or cross-site tracking. The fonts and the showreel are served from this domain rather than from a third party.
We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which runs from this domain and sets no cookies. It records which pages are viewed, the referring site, and your country, browser, operating system and device type. It also records a few actions — opening the contact form or a case study, and whether a brief was sent, with the project type, budget and timeline you picked, but never your name, contact details or anything you typed. Visits are told apart by a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, so you are not followed from one day to the next, and we only ever see the totals.
What the contact form sends
The form asks for your name, your email address and a description of your project. Company, phone number, project type, budget, timeline, links and how you heard about us are all optional, and blank is fine.
What you submit is sent to us as an email and nothing more. There is no database behind this site, so the brief is not stored, indexed or added to a list anywhere — it exists in our inbox, the way an email you wrote yourself would. We do not sell it or pass it to anyone for marketing.
Your IP address is read when you submit, purely to stop the form being hammered by scripts. It is held in the memory of the function handling the request and is never written to a file or a database.
Who handles it on the way
Three services touch this, and that is the complete list. Vercel hosts the site, runs the visit counts described above, and records standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and availability, on their own retention schedule. Amazon SES delivers the form's email. The email arrives in a Google Workspace inbox, which is where we read and reply to it.
We are based in Mexico, and Amazon SES processes the message in the United States. A brief sent through the form therefore leaves the country on its way to us.
If you email or call instead
The same applies to the address and phone number published on this site. We keep your message and contact details so we can reply and, where it leads to work, administer that engagement.
How long we keep it
We do not run a deletion schedule, and we would rather say so than publish one we do not follow. Enquiries stay in our inbox while there is a reason to keep them, and we delete them when you ask us to.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to a particular use of it. Write to hello@yurnylabs.com and we will respond within thirty days.
If this page changes
When what we do changes, this page changes with it, in the same release rather than afterwards. The date below is when that last happened.
